Narcissus Oolong Tea

Shui Xian Oolong Tea is produced from Shui Xian tea bushes in sustainable agriculture certified tea gardens located in the southern foothills of the Wuyi Mountains, Fujian Province. Grown at an altitude of 500 meters, the tea benefits from the region’s rich soil and favorable climate, which enhance its distinct characteristics.

The tea is harvested between April and May through mechanical picking, selecting three to four leaves per sprout. Using traditional Wuyi rock tea techniques, the production process includes sun-withering, oxidation, fixation, rolling, drying, and refining. The resulting tea has robust, tightly twisted leaves with a bold appearance.

When brewed, Shui Xian Oolong Tea yields a bright, clear infusion with a rich, full-bodied flavor. The tea’s smooth texture is complemented by its complex roasted notes, making it a classic example of Wuyi rock tea. Its durability allows it to be infused more than eight times, with flavors evolving across each steep.

For brewing, use boiling water (above 100°C) in a white porcelain gaiwan. Infuse the tea for 10–15 seconds for the first brew, gradually increasing steeping time for subsequent infusions to suit personal preference.
