We do not recommend drinking Raw Puerh in the evening unless you desire to stay awake until morning. This especially applies to younger teas ageg under 15 years.

Processing steps of Sheng puerh

Oxidation: The rolled tea leaves are then left to oxidize in a warm and humid environment. During this time, the leaves will darken in color and develop their unique flavor profile.
Drying: Once the leaves have been oxidized to the desired level, they are dried to stop the oxidation process. This can be done by either pan-frying the leaves or using a machine.
Ageing of Sheng pu-erhs
One of the unique aspects of sheng Pu-erh is that it can improve in flavor and complexity with age. As it ages, the tea undergoes a natural fermentation process that changes the flavor and aroma of the tea. This aging process can take many years, and some sheng Pu-erh teas can be aged for decades.

Steep the tea: Place the tea leaves in a teapot or gaiwan and add hot water. Let the tea steep for around 5-7 seconds for the first time.
Pour the tea: Pour the tea into a cup or pitcher and enjoy.
Repeat: Sheng puerh can be steeped multiple times, so repeat the brewing process as desired. The flavor and aroma of the tea will change with each steeping.
