White tea «Zhouli Bai Hao Yin Zhen» («Silver Needles with white fur») from Zhouli tea farm (Wuyishan region, Fujian province), made in early spring of 2020.
In appearance: thin, silvery-grey, pointed, hairy buds. The fragrance is restrained, spicy-floral. The liquor is transparent, with a light shade of white grapes.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is fresh and airy, floral-herbaceous with hints of flaxseed, raspberry and peppermint. The fragrance is tender, floral-herbaceous. The taste is refined and full-bodied, silky, sweetish, a bit spicy, with a fine berry sourness, minty coolness and lingering finish.
Steep the tea in a hot water (80-90°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 15 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 3-5 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat steeping up to 10 times.
