While the Meizhan tea cultivar is mostly famous as one of the rock oolong types in the Wuyi Mountains, it is also grown in other regions of Fujian, Guangdong, and other provinces, and is famous for its special taste. With the combination of oolong and red tea processing in one tea, this Mei zhan variety of oolong tea bush brings very sweet and delicate notes to this red tea.
