This tea table is handcrafted through a six-step process: drying the wood, shaping the blank, milling the tabletop design, sanding in three stages, quality control, and finishing with a protective oil blend. Five of these steps are done entirely by hand, making each piece truly unique.
We use only alder wood (Alnus) for its durability, light weight, and fine grain. For protection, we apply a natural mix of vegetable oils and hard carnauba wax by hand in three layers. This eco-friendly finish protects the table from heat, water, and mold—ideal for daily tea practice.
