Honey Orchid Oolong (Milanxiang Dancong) is a tea brick made from old dancong tea tree material from the Fenghuang mountains in Guangdong. It is a traditional Dancong oolong processed with slow baking.
The liquor is amber, with clean honey sweetness and a light orchid fragrance. The taste is calm, deep and steady, showing the strength of old trees and the balance of careful baking.
The tea is pressed into a 100 g brick made up of 12 break-off cubes weighing approximately 8 g each. Break off one cube and brew it either in a European style or using a traditional Chinese method. Packed in November 2025.
Brewing Instructions
Western brewing: Use one cube (about 8 g) per 300 ml of water at 90–95 °C. Steep for 2–3 min. Increase the brewing time for the next infusion.
Gongfu brewing: Use one cube (about 8 g) per 120 ml of water at 95 °C. Rinse briefly, then begin with a 10 sec infusion. Add 5–10 sec to each subsequent infusion.
