Lancang Raw Pu-erh Tea (2019 spring)

Lancang Raw Pu-erh Tea is produced in Lancang County, Yunnan Province, along the Lancang River basin. The area’s high altitude of 1600 meters, coupled with its warm, humid climate, abundant rainfall, and mineral-rich soil, creates the perfect environment for the Yunnan Da Ye Zhong tea variety.

Harvested between March 20 and May 30 in2019₽, the tea is hand-picked with a focus on one bud and three leaves. Its traditional processing includes withering, pan-firing, cooling, rolling, and sun-drying, ensuring the tea retains its natural essence and quality.

This tea brews into a golden-yellow infusion with a rich, full-bodied texture. The aroma combines floral, fruity, and woody notes, evolving with time. Its flavor is bold yet smooth, with a pronounced sweetness and a long-lasting aftertaste. The tea’s distinctive character becomes more refined and complex over multiple infusions.

For brewing, use 7–8 grams of tea per 150ml of water at 93–95°C. Steep for 15–20 seconds for the first infusion, adjusting the time for subsequent brews based on personal taste. Avoid long steeping times to prevent an overly strong flavor.

Rich in polyphenols, caffeine, and amino acids, Lancang Raw Pu-erh offers benefits such as aiding digestion, reducing cholesterol, and providing antioxidants. It is particularly valued for its refreshing and invigorating qualities.
