How to make delicious Matcha Tiramisu (recipe)

Matcha tiramisu

Matcha tiramisu is a delicious dessert that combines the traditional Italian tiramisu with the taste of matcha tea. Here's a recipe to get you started:

  • 3 eggs
  • 500 g mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of matcha powder
  • 1/2 cup warm water 70C
  • 24 long fingers
  • Matcha Powder to garnish

  1. Separate the egg yolks and egg whites and beat the egg whites until stiff.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks with the icing sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the mascarpone cheese and matcha powder to the egg yolk mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. Add the stiffly beaten egg whites to the mascarpone mixture and gently fold in until well combined.
  5. Pour the cooled water into a shallow dish, whisk with matcha with a whisk and dip the ladyfingers briefly so that they are drenched, but not soaked.
  6. Place a layer of the soaked sponge fingers in a baking dish.
  7. Divide half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and smooth it out.
  8. Then place another layer of ladyfingers on top of the mascarpone mixture.
  9. Add the remaining mascarpone mixture and smooth it out.
  10. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  11. Sprinkle with matcha powder before serving.
