Hoshino Sencha Tsuyuhikari is a high-quality tea grown in the peaceful tea fields of Hoshino, a village in the well-known Yame region of Fukuoka Prefecture. This tea is from the first harvest, cultivated at an elevation of 200 meters, and made from the Tsuyuhikari cultivar, known for its bright and refreshing flavor.

In appearance: The leaves are thin, dark green, and neatly twisted, showing careful craftsmanship. The aroma is fresh and grassy with soft floral hints and a touch of umami.

When brewed, the tea has a clean, green-golden color. The fragrance is light and fresh, with grassy and floral notes. The taste is smooth and balanced, with a gentle sweetness, mild umami, and a light bitterness that leaves a refreshing, lasting finish.

How to brew: Use 4 grams of tea leaves with 70 ml of water heated to 80°C. Steep for 60 seconds for the first infusion. For later brews, steep for 15-20 seconds, adjusting the time to your preference.

Hoshino Sencha Tsuyuhikari is a great tea for a calm and refreshing break, bringing out the fresh flavors of spring in every cup.
