Sergey Shevelev is an international tea expert, entrepreneur, and traveler based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, who has dedicated his life to exploring the world of tea.
He is the founder of the Moychay International tea company, which specializes in high-quality loose-leaf tea from all around the world, and has traveled extensively to tea-producing countries as China, Thailand, Vietnam, Georgia, and other, in search of the finest tea and the most authentic tea experiences.

Sergey is known for his deep knowledge and passion for tea, as well as his commitment to sustainability, fair trade, and community development. He is also a popular blogger, speaker and educator, sharing his expertise on tea culture, history, and production with audiences around the world.

In addition to his work with Moychay, Sergey Shevelev is the author of "The Geography of Chinese Tea," a comprehensive guide to the history, geography, and culture of Chinese tea. The book, which is based on Sergey's extensive travels and research in China, covers everything from the different varieties of Chinese tea to the regions where they are produced, the people who grow and process them, and the customs and rituals surrounding their consumption.

Through his work with Moychay and his writing, Sergey Shevelev has become one of the leading figures in the international tea community, promoting the appreciation and understanding of tea as a beverage, an art form, and a way of life.

On the Special tea session, held by Sergey, he will share at least 15 types of tea from his private collection, with the focus on oolongs, aged puer and dark tea, red tea, green tea, white tea from China, Vietnam, Thailand and Georgia. You will enjoy vast range of unusual and rare high quality loose leaf tea, which you possibly never tried before.

Before the session we recommend you to take some food. Some of the locations also offer food options. All tea sessions will be in English. We will be glad to meet you on the tea session!
