“Yongde Dashu Sheng Cha” is a sheng puer from large trees made in Yongde County (Lincang, Yunnan Northwest Tea Region), first spring harvest 2021.
In appearance: large, grey-brown twisted tea leaves and buds with thin cuttings. The aroma is restrained, with notes of hay, nut and meadow flowers. The infusion is transparent, with a shade of white grapes.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is multifaceted and fresh, herbaceous, with floral, nutty and balsamic notes. The aroma is intense, complex, spicy herbal. The taste is dense, clean and sweet, astringent, with refined apple sourness, hints of spices and a long, juicy finish.
Steep the tea in a hot water (90°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 4-5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10-15 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9 times.
“Yongde Dashu Sheng Cha” is an excellent young sheng puer, bright and vibrant, with a great potential in terms of long-term storage.
