Sheng puer tea from Manmai village, Yunnan Province, Menghai County, China. This tea is one of the limited productions of the Moychay March 2024 Yunnan tea expedition. Manmai is one of the oldest villages on the famous Bada tea mountain, and it's known as one of the oldest tea gardens on the mountain too. Manmai is located on the border with Myanmar (Burma) and inhabited by local Bulang minority people. This tea was produced by a Bulang family-owned small tea factory in the spring of 2023, harvested from big tea trees aged 150-250 years. Sheng puer from the big trees exhibits natural sweetness, which can range from subtle to pronounced. This sweetness often lingers on the palate, providing a pleasant aftertaste.
