Tea tasting & Chocolate pairing with Sergey Shevelev and Rita from Carambole — Advent Calendar Special Edition
This season, tea and chocolate come together in a very special edition inspired by the Carambole Tea & Chocolate Advent Calendar — a collection of 24 unique pairings created around the fascinating relationship between tea and chocolate.
Join Sergey Shevelev, founder of Moychay and lifelong tea explorer, and Rita, the artist and maker behind the award-winning Carambole bonbons atelier, for an evening of flavour discovery inspired by this special collection.
Over the past year, Rita has carefully explored and refined combinations of exceptional loose-leaf teas, craft chocolates and Carambole bonbons. The aim was not simply to find harmonious pairings, but to discover what happens when two ingredients meet — how their flavours, aromas and textures can complement, contrast and transform one another.
During the evening, Sergey will guide you through a selection of teas from the calendar, brewed Gong Fu Cha style in several short infusions. Rita will pair them with craft chocolates and Carambole bonbons, sharing the stories and ideas behind each combination.
Some pairings may feel harmonious, others surprising. There is no single right way to taste them — experiment, switch the order, taste again, and discover what happens when tea and chocolate meet.
