A new shipment of teaware has just arrived at Moychay.nl — and there are a lot of beautiful pieces to explore 👀

This time we brought in tea trays, gaiwans, teapots, cups and tea sets for different styles of brewing. Some pieces are simple and practical for everyday tea, while others are more unusual — with textured clay, hand-painted details and distinctive shapes.

Tea trays

A chaban, or tea tray, is where the whole tea session comes together: the tea, the teaware, the water and everyone sitting around the table.

We now have several new trays in different sizes and materials, from compact options for a small setup to larger trays for longer tea sessions.

Gaiwans

The gaiwan is one of the simplest and most versatile ways to brew Chinese tea.

A bowl, a lid and a saucer — that’s basically it. But this simple form gives you a lot of control over the brewing process. You can watch the leaves open, smell the aroma under the lid and adjust every infusion yourself.

Our new arrival includes gaiwans in different shapes, glazes and types of ceramic.

Teapots 

A teapot is much more personal than it may seem.

The size, clay, shape of the handle and even the way the water pours can completely change how the pot feels during a tea session.

This shipment includes both traditional-looking pieces and more unusual handmade designs — from simple ceramic pots to textured and decorated clay teapots.

Tea cups

Sometimes the cup changes the whole mood of the tea.

Thin porcelain can make the experience feel light and delicate, while a heavier ceramic or clay cup feels warmer and more grounded in the hand.

There are many new cups in the collection now — different shapes, textures, glazes and styles.
