Along the River During the Qingming Festival Cup # 96133, 130 ml

• Height: 6.5 cm
• Weight: 120 g
• Volume: 130 ml

This tea cup has a gently flared rim, rounded bowl, and short foot that keeps it steady. Its dark purple-brown surface carries a finely engraved river scene, giving quiet visual interest between sips.

The name refers to Along the River During the Qingming Festival, a famous Northern Song handscroll depicting city life and travel. Decorative cups belong to the wider Chinese tea tradition, where small vessels are passed and held close for tasting.

Purple pottery is associated with Jianshui in Yunnan, known for dark clay vessels with polished or engraved surfaces. Here, the near-black body lets warmer brown marks emerge from the relief. Rinse after use and dry fully.
