This tea cup has a rounded bowl, compact foot, and smooth open rim suited to focused tasting. Its red-brown glaze darkens toward the base, while cloudy kiln variation gives the surface depth without decoration.

The Chinese name refers to rabbit-hair glaze, a Tenmoku style known for fine streaks formed as glaze crystals during firing. Rabbit-hair wares are linked with Song dynasty Jian kilns, and cups of this kind were made for drinking tea.

This piece was made in China, with a red kiln-transformed finish that shifts from crimson to brown across the curved wall. The compact foot adds visual balance on a tea table. Rinse and dry.
