Pomelo Blossom Scented Beauty Tea is an elegant floral oolong made from Meiren (Beauty) tea and fresh pomelo flowers. The base tea is grown at an altitude of approximately 1100 meters in Sanming City, Fujian Province. The Meiren tea was first developed in collaboration with Taiwan in 1998 and is harvested around the Dragon Boat Festival, after being naturally bitten by leafhoppers—a process that triggers the release of terpenoid compounds, producing its characteristic honeyed and fruity fragrance.
The pomelo blossoms used in scenting are harvested from Pinghe County, Fujian, known for their rich, lingering, and sweet aroma. These flowers are layered with the tea during a two-stage scenting process (each cycle lasting 8–12 hours), followed by baking, flower removal, and refinement to complete the tea.
The finished tea features tightly curled leaves with visible buds and five natural colors: red, yellow, white, green, and brown. When brewed, it produces a golden amber infusion with a soft, rich taste and layered notes of honey, fruit, and pomelo blossom. The liquor is smooth and clean, with a long-lasting floral finish.
For hot brewing, use 6 grams of tea in a gaiwan or teapot with water at 95°C. First infusion: 10 seconds, second: 15 seconds, increasing steeping time gradually. For cold brewing, steep 3 grams of tea in 330ml of mineral water for 40 minutes to release its floral aroma.
