This time we went to a remote village in Wenshan county looking for good-quality Sheng Puer tea. We had a small conversation with local villagers and tea producers about the specific qualities of local tea-production and the peculiarities of local life.
During this trip to Fujian we went to Fuding, a place that is famous for its white teas. We had a chance to see local sights, famous tourist attractions, tea plantations and the factory of our friends. We also tasted local white teas and talked with the owner of the factory about tea production and the history of compressed white tea. It was a wonderful adventure!

Today we are taking a walk through the beautiful mountains of Wuyishan, where the famous so-called "cliff teas" like 'Shui Xian' and 'Rou Gui' are grown. Following centuries-old paths we will visit the local tea plantations and the old Dao monastery Matou, located at the self-titled mountain - Matouyan, that can be translated as "Horse Head Cliff".
