Shu Puer « Yi Ji » («First grade») from Yongde tea region (Lincang County), harvest 2018

In appearance: medium-sized flagellum twisted dark brown leaves and thin cuttings. The aroma is intensive, nutty. The infusion is dark chestnut-red.

The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, nutty-and-woody, with notes of baked chestnut, ripe leaves and dried fruits. The aroma is deep and viscous, nutty. The taste is mellow, sweetish, with a soft woody astringency, sourness of dried berries and velvety finish.

Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 8 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8-9 times.

Youngde Yiji Shu Puer is a good choice to boost your daytime energy.
