Made from handpicked buds and two leaves of Jin Xuan tea trees, its signature aroma is enhanced by a natural phenomenon: the leaves are gently bitten by small green leafhoppers (Xiaoluyechan), which triggers the production of floral, honeyed terpenes as part of the plant’s defense response. After sun-wilting and slow indoor oxidation, the tea is dried with minimal interference—no rolling, no frying—allowing time and sunlight to complete the transformation.
In the cup, Jinxuan white tea yields a pale golden liquor with a soft, elegant bouquet of wild honey, orchids, and ripe fruit.
