This one-of-a-kind teapot was crafted in Dehua and fired in a traditional wood kiln, a process that gives each piece its own unpredictable, organic surface. The flame path and falling ash create textured gradients and earthy hues — no two are ever alike.
Made of high-fired ceramic, the body is slightly asymmetrical and expressive, with a bold, angled spout and a hand-formed lid loop. The pot bears the marks of its making: tool impressions, kiln effects, and natural ash glaze that melted into the surface during the long firing.
