The Guzheng, a traditional Chinese instrument with a history of more than two thousand years, is an important part of Chinese musical culture. Through the evening, performer Liaoliao will share the stories and traditions behind several pieces, bringing the music to life beyond the sound itself.
About the performer
Liaoliao is a Guzheng and bamboo flute performer based in the Netherlands. Having played Guzheng since the age of five, she combines traditional Chinese music with contemporary and cross-cultural performance settings. She has performed at cultural festivals, museums, corporate events, and international community events across the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Belgium.
