We were extremely lucky to visit our friend’s farm just in the middle of harvesting and tea making season. Huoshan is a wonderful place where world-known Yin Zhen and Huang Ya yellow teas are made. We tasted the tea, visited the factory, the plantations, participated in the harvesting process, had a look at how it’s made and visited a fantastic national park, where we had a chance to see the beauty of the local nature. It was a truly fascinating adventure and we’re happy to share our experience with you.

This time we travel to Lugu Township, Taiwan. We visit tea plantation which is located in the mountains. It is also a well known tourist destination. The owner remembers us. He is happy to see us again. We learn that no equipment is used to water the plants. They are fully natural. Production facility and tea plantation are located at the same place. Large premises are necessary in order to complete two stages of tea processing. We finish up with an interesting story about the moss.
