Good news — a new tea shipment has arrived at Moychay.nl!

This September we have a lot to taste: new oolongs, black and green teas, aged teas, GABA teas, floral experiments and a Low-Caffeine Tie Guan Yin.

Some are familiar classics, some are a little unusual. So here’s a quick guide to a few highlights from the new drop 👇

Oriental Beauty & Floral Teas 🌸

Let’s start with the most aromatic part of the new collection. If you like honey, flowers and ripe fruit, look here.

Golden Grace Oolong — soft and sweet, with honey, ripe fruit and floral notes.

Oriental Beauty Oolong — a classic honeyed profile with ripe fruit and muscat notes.

Pomelo Flower Beauty Oolong — bright citrus blossom aroma with gentle fruity sweetness.

Rose Beauty Oolong — fragrant rose notes over a sweet oolong base.

Jasmine Oriental Beauty — honeyed Oriental Beauty combined with fresh jasmine aroma.

Gardenia Scented Oriental Beauty — sweet and floral, with a creamy gardenia fragrance.

White Oriental Beauty — a lighter profile with flowers, honey and delicate fruit.

Platinum Grace White Tea — gentle and clean, with floral sweetness and a soft finish.

This group is especially nice if you’re looking for something fragrant and easy to enjoy — or simply want to see how different flowers can work with tea. 🌺

Dancong & Aromatic Oolongs 🍑

Next: bigger aromas, deeper flavours and more roast.

Mi Lan Xiang Dancong (Honey Orchid) — intense honey and orchid aroma with ripe fruity notes.

AnCha Oolong (Dark Orchid) — darker and deeper, with floral and roasted notes.

Jasmine Oolong — fresh jasmine fragrance with a smooth oolong base.

Flame Tie Guan Yin — roasted Tie Guan Yin with warm, nutty and floral notes.

Hong Wulong Oolong Tea — rich and sweet, with ripe fruit and warm roasted tones.

Jin Bai Long Cha — aromatic and smooth, with a sweet and lingering finish.

Dancong is always fun to brew because the aroma can be surprisingly intense. If you haven’t tried this style before, Mi Lan Xiang is a good place to start.

And if you already love aromatic oolongs — there are a few new ones waiting for you :)

GABA Oolongs 🌿

We also received two new GABA teas.

Fujian Lao GABA WulongCha (2018) — aged and mellow, with sweetness and warm dried-fruit notes.

GABA Golden Lily Dragon Tea (Jinxuan) — smooth and creamy, with sweet floral and fruity notes.

GABA processing gives these teas their own recognizable character: smooth, rounded and naturally sweet.

The two are quite different, so they’re also interesting to taste side by side.

Low-Caffeine Tie Guan Yin 🍵

And one of the most unusual arrivals in this shipment: Low-Caffeine Tie Guan Yin. We wanted a tea for people who love drinking tea but don’t always want the full caffeine hit.

Low-Caffeine Tie Guan Yin is floral, fresh and smooth, with the familiar aromatic character of Tie Guan Yin but significantly less caffeine than the regular version.

It’s a good option if you’re sensitive to caffeine, want to reduce your intake or simply want another tea for later in the day.
