Join us for a special tasting evening exploring one of China’s most iconic teas — Da Hong Pao — paired with a selection of traditional Chinese buns in a setting that brings together story, taste, and warmth.

Da Hong Pao, or “Big Red Robe,” is a historic rock oolong tea from the Wuyi Mountains, known for its layered aroma, mineral depth, and lasting aftertaste. In this session, you’ll taste several unique variations of Da Hong Pao, each offering its own take on this revered tea’s rich personality — from toasty and robust to more floral and balanced expressions.

Paired with this journey through the cliffs of Fujian are
Chinese buns — soft, pillowy delights that have been a staple across many Chinese regions and occasions. Their mellow flavor and tender bite allow the complexity of each tea to shine, creating a beautiful contrast and flow between sips and bites. You’ll enjoy the tea brewed in Pin Cha style, where we serve several infusions of each tea, allowing its full character to unfold and deepen throughout the experience.
