Yiwu Zheng Shan Sheng Bing (2009), 345 g.
“Yiwu Zheng Shan” is an aged sheng Puerh from Yiwu Mountains (Xishuangbanna County) from Yiwu Mengsong Chaye Zhanqiexian Gongsi Factory, 2009 harvest.
345-grams teacake of medium density easily separates into twisted brown leaves, buds and thin cuttings. The aroma is restrained, woody-and-fruity. The infusion is transparent, with a chestnut shade.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, woody-and-fruity with balsamic, autumnal, herbaceous, mushroom and nutty notes. The aroma is deep and warm, fruity-balsamic. The taste is dense, smooth and juicy-tart, sweetish, with fruity sourness, spicy nuances and a refreshing finish.
Steep the tea in a hot water (90-95°C) in a gaiwan or in a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (for 1-2 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.
“Yiwu Zheng Shan” is an excellent example of aged sheng puer with a rich flavor and meditative impact.
