Hanfu Hairpin Making & Tea Ceremony | 24 January | 18:00
Step into an afternoon of tradition, creativity, and calm at Moychay Tea Culture Club.
We begin with a Pin Cha tea ceremony — a social and sensory introduction to Chinese tea culture. This gentle ceremony focuses on mindful tasting, slow-paced tea preparation, and sharing stories over carefully selected teas. It’s an accessible and beautiful way to tune into the depth of loose-leaf tea, in an intimate, friendly setting.
After the ceremony, we transition into a Hanfu hairpin crafting session. Inspired by traditional Chinese adornments, these ornamental pins were once worn to signify elegance, status, and personal expression. Today, they remain a cherished symbol of style and culture. You’ll design your own decorative hairpin using a refined selection of beads, silk florals, pearls, and elegant details, guided by an experienced host.
All materials are included, and no prior experience is necessary — just bring your curiosity and love for delicate beauty. This workshop is perfect for those interested in traditional arts, fashion heritage, tea culture, or simply enjoying a quiet, creative moment.
