Where do your stories begin — around which table, which dish, which shared silence?
Green Table Time is a co-created tea ritual and storytelling gathering that invites people living between cultures — internationals, locals, in-betweens — to reflect on family, memory, and belonging. Through warm tea, shared food, and simple gestures of hospitality, we remember where we come from and how we choose to belong.
🫖 What to Expect
You’ll be welcomed at the green table — a symbolic space of care and connection — and guided into a shared tea ritual using simple Gong Fu Cha principles. We’ll pour tea for each other, listen to stories of migration and memory, and share short reflections about what home means to each of us.
Zoe and Ting will lead with personal vignettes about growing up in China and living in Europe, and invite guests to join in a slow, nourishing conversation.
Throughout the evening, you’ll enjoy a curated tasting of several teas (including green), light snacks, and a moment to write your own “green note” — a small message or memory placed at the table as part of our shared installation.
We close with a final tea pour and time to connect with others in the calm atmosphere of the Moychay tea house.
