✨ Heart-Opening Morning: Kundalini Yoga & Tea Ceremony
A soft beginning to your year — through breath, movement, and tea.
On 18 January, we invite you to a grounding morning session at Moychay Tea Culture Club — a quiet space in the heart of Amsterdam, known for its meditative atmosphere, natural textures, and deep-rooted tea knowledge.
The morning begins with a Kundalini Yoga practice guided by Anna, founder of OMBRA Yoga Studio, who brings over 13 years of experience in energy work and inner transformation. This session will focus on the Anahata (Heart) Chakra, the center of love, emotional clarity, and connection.
You’ll move through gentle asana, breathwork (pranayama), mantra, and meditation — unlocking the body and clearing emotional blockages to return to a space of inner openness. Whether you’re new to Kundalini or have practiced before, this is a session designed to meet you where you are.
From 11:00, we transition into a Pin Cha tea ceremony — a quiet, attentive way of serving and receiving tea in small cups. Rooted in simplicity, this style of brewing invites us to slow down and share presence with each steep. You’ll taste carefully selected loose-leaf teas from Moychay’s collection — brewed across several infusions to reveal their nuance and depth.
The teahouse itself holds this ceremony gently: warm wooden textures, handcrafted teaware, and a rhythm of quiet that invites you to listen — to the tea, to your breath, to yourself.
